•  Before cutting perennials to the ground, determine which masses you’ll keep for pollinators and other wildlife.
•  It’s not too late! Adding 2-3” of mulch moderates soil temps during the colder months, protecting root systems.
•  Plant spring-blooming bulbs like daffodils, tulips, and scilla now to ensure you’ll have vibrant colors next spring!
•  Drain your rain barrel.
•  Clean & sharpen hand pruners; replace blades of dull pruning saws.
•  Drain or add fuel stabilizer to your mower. Change air filter, oil, and spark plug if needed.
•  Remove tree watering bags for the winter.
