• Schedule a pruning lesson to address winter storm damage and other trees and shrubs that benefit from early spring pruning.
• Spring is starting with moderate drought conditions; be sure to check new plantings and hand water, as needed.
• Add 2-3” of mulch to moderate soil temps and retain soil moisture.
• Insert plant supports for tall perennials while they’re are small!
• Clean & sharpen hand pruners; replace blades of dull pruning saws.
• Soil test home orchards and new planting areas.
